Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about YouTube access, editors, and early access.

You sign in with Google and authorize QuickTube through YouTube's OAuth flow. We only request the scopes needed to help you manage workflows we never ask for your Google password outside of Google's own sign-in.

No. Editors use their own QuickTube accounts and permissions. Creators keep ownership of channel connections; editors work inside the workspace you invite them to, without sharing channel credentials.

Workspace data tied to that channel may become unavailable or read-only depending on product behavior at the time. We recommend exporting anything critical before disconnecting; retention details will be documented in your settings as we approach general availability.

We're onboarding a small number of teams during early access. Request a demo to get a personalized walkthrough, or apply as a collaborator if you'd like to help shape the product.

We use industry-standard encryption in transit, secure hosting practices, and least-privilege access patterns. As we grow, we'll publish more detail in a dedicated security or trust page.
